The Arduino IoT cloud allows you to control your Arduino board remotely from your PC or mobile device. Log, graph and analyze sensor data, trigger events, and automate your home or business. There are different types of boards and connection technologies available to suit different needs and requirements.
The current boards that you will be able to connect to the cloud are:
- Arduino NANO 33 IoT
- Arduino MKR WiFi 1010
- Arduino MKR WAN 1310
- Arduino MKR WAN 1300
- Arduino MKR NB 1500
- Arduino MKR GSM 1400
- Arduino MKR1000
- Arduino Portenta H7 (M7 core)
Additionally, and available only for the Maker Plan, it is possible to connect 1 third-party board to the IoT cloud to setup and control remotely. LoraWAN Device (generic Lora) or ESP8266 are some of the most common third-party boards compatible with the platform.
